Clindamycin - Vaginal Cream
Has anyone had to take this for bacterial vaginosis? If so, what were he side effects from taking it? I believe the skin between my butt and upper thighs, right below my vaginal entry is irritated. I really have to get a good look at it to be sure but I know it feels that way. I've also been getting a discharge, which I expect but sometimes it's mixed with brownish red. Is this something I should let my doctor know about? I've already had to switch from Flagyl because it made me sickenly nauseated.

Clindamycin - Vaginal Cream
I USED CLYNDESE (I THINK THATS HOW IT IS SPELLED)THIS IS THE SAME AS CLYNDAMICIN. IT IS A SINGLE DOSE OF VAGINAL CREAM AND IT GAVE ME A YEAST INFECTION, WHICH CAUSED THE INFLAMATION THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. NOW I AM USING FLUCONAZOLE ( I PILL 150 mg) AND I HAVE YET TO FEEL ANY RELIEF. THIS IS HORRIBLE!

Metronidazole (Baterial Vaginosis)
I also took metronidazole in the form of a vaginal gel for a yeast infection. Two days after starting the medication, I also broke out in a severe rash. The rash is still spreading after 12 days, despite treatment with methylprednisolone (7 days)and diphenhydramine. This treatment arrested the rash, but it began spreading again as soon as the treatment stopped.

How do I get rid of the rash?

Nitroglycerin and systoms of overdose?
Hello,
Since this is my first post,I will try to make it short.I have read the data sheet that came with this medicine and it does talk about what happens if someone overdoses.But I am assuming they are talking about an accidental overdose of ,say,3-6 pills.But what does it do to you if someone ingested 50 or more at one time.No,it is not me.Of course everyone says that when they want to know what to expect.But it just happens to be the truth this time.I am a totally disabled Vietnam vet, with no issues bad enough for me to even think of doing something that crazy.Anyway, I have a very close friend, a Vietnam vet as well,that has some serious issues with his torn up body and no legs & with just one arm.The VA psychiatrists have been working with him almost from day one.They continue to fill him with a handful of pills everyday.I mean he has to take 24 every morning,14 at dinner,and 28 every night.But recently he has just completely given up on himself and told me he plans to take the nitroglycerin in the quantity I stated,maybe more.If I tell the VA or any civilian organization,he would disappear,forever.I have not read him the part about overdose on the data paper,yet.I am trying to scare him out of it by telling him the truth that if he did this, that this medicine would do all those things,not only for a longer period of time but worse,before they let you die.
So,any info that I can use would be greatly appreciated.Oh,the last time I ask this on another forum,last week,they somehow got my home address and sent the Sheriff out to my house,and since my friend lives in 'seeing' distance of me,it spooked him off to another location about 40 miles from me.He only let me know where he was yesterday.
Thank you.

INDOMETHACIN for inflammation by the hernia area
This is what "surfaced" during my research on INDOMETHACIN. Brand names:
Indocin Capsules/Suspension/Suppositories;
Indocin SR;
Indochron E-R)
Prescribed for Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, menstrual pain, tendinitis, bursitis, painful shoulder, gout (except Indocin SR), sunburn prevention and treatment (as a cream or lotion), and migraine and cluster headache prevention, (except Indocin SR). Indomethacin can be used to prevent premature labor, but this can affect the development of the baby's heart and should be avoided. The drug is also used in place of surgery to treat a reare condition in premature infants called patent ductos arteriosus, where the baby's heart is not fully formed. Topical Indomethacin has been used as eyedrops to treat a severa and unusual inflammation of part of the retina.
General Information
INDOMETHACINis one of 16 nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are used to relieve pain and inflammation.We do not know exactly how NSAIDs work, but part of their action may be due to an ability fo inhibit the body's production of a hormone called prostaglandin and to inhibit the action of other body chemicals, including cyclo-oxygenase, lipoxygenase, leukotrienes, lysosomal enzymes, and a host of other factors. Indomethacin is absorbed into the bloodstream fairly quickly. Pain relief comes about 30 minutes after taking the firs dose and lasts for 4 to 6 hours, but the drug's anti-inflammatory effect takes a week to become apparent, and may take 2 weeks to reach its maximum effect. Indomethacin is broken down in the liver and eliminated through the kidneys.
There's three more pages of data! (cautions, warnings, drug interactions, etc.) I got tire of typing/copying from "The Pill Book" 7th edition (1996). hope this helps
Peace be with you
