What side effects can this medication cause?
Although side effects from sulfacetamide are not common, they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:
- temporary stinging or burning of the eye
- increased redness, itching, or swelling of the eye that continues for more than 48 hours
