Skeletal Muscle Relaxants (Systemic)

Brand name(s): EZE-DS

Order From TotalMeds.com

Description

Skeletal muscle relaxants are used to relax certain muscles in your body and relieve the stiffness, pain, and discomfort caused by strains, sprains, or other injury to your muscles. However, these medicines do not take the place of rest, exercise or physical therapy, or other treatment that your doctor may recommend for your medical problem. Methocarbamol also has been used to relieve some of the muscle problems caused by tetanus.

Skeletal muscle relaxants act in the central nervous system (CNS) to produce their muscle relaxant effects. Their actions in the CNS may also produce some of their side effects.

In the U.S., these medicines are available only with your doctor's prescription. In Canada, some of these medicines are available without a prescription.

These medicines are available in the following dosage forms:

    Oral
  • Carisoprodol
    • Tablets (U.S. and Canada)
  • Chlorphenesin
    • Tablets (U.S.)
  • Chlorzoxazone

This medication relaxes muscles and relieves pain and discomfort associated with strains, sprains, spasms or other muscle injuries. Muscle relaxers are for specific muscle injury and pain and should not be used for general body aches and pains. Muscle Cramps
I've been prescribed Triamterene for water retention from estrogen for menopause. I've been taking for 2 weeks and suddenly have developed severe upper back/shoulder muscle contraction. Any possibility this is a side effect? Thanks.

fat
BUT in saying that...If being fat is going to cause more problems than the medication was prescribed for in the first place, the medication then becomes a bigger problem than the problem its supposed to cure. Well all i can suggest is lots of exercise, less eating. I eat lots on it too, only im turning my extra fat into muscle...solid, robust muscle.

Production of Trazadone
See answer above. That is how I arrived at this board. But I don't get it. This might not be the manufacturer? Perhaps we need to research Pharmaceutical World or trazodone + .com.
Trazodone is the generic name for desyrel.
I think the drug is so old that whoever manufactured desyrel doesn't anymore as I did enter desyrel + .com and came up with nothing using MSN search. Hmm......

But do check out this cool link which I found here (!) too regarding all generic drugs:
