Olanzapine/Zyprexa
WHOA let me tell you a HORRIBLE experience.
I was put on Olanzapine/Zyprexa and within 72 hours I was at the ER for muscle spasms and extreme swelling.
My doctor told me he had other patients with the same effects and was taking them off it immediatly.
I'd use it with caution - seek another first is my opinion.

Risperdal
I took risperidone for 2 years as an anti-psychotic. It made me put on about 1 and a half stone, made me very tired and didn't help my symptoms fully. Next I tried: Olanzapine, chlorpromazine, stellazine, melloril and finally the one that worked - clozaril! Hurray!!

Should I go onto Risperidone??
Hi, I'm Ana from Romania and within my work i had contacts with Risperidone, with doctors who administrate it and studies regarding Risperidone and many other substances. Unlike olanzapine for example which works in the same way, studies demonstrated and also doctors said that you don't gain weight taking Risperidone. I thought maybe this information can help.
All best to you
