Narcotic Analgesics and Aspirin (Systemic)
Brand name(s): Damason-P
Proper Use of This Medicine
Take this medicine with food or a full glass (8 ounces) of water to lessen stomach irritation.
Do not take this medicine if it has a strong vinegar-like odor. This odor means the aspirin in it is breaking down. If you have any questions about this, check with your health care professional.
Take this medicine only as directed by your medical doctor or dentist. Do not take more of it, do not take it more often, and do not take it for a longer time than your medical doctor or dentist ordered. This is especially important for children and elderly patients, who are usually more sensitive to the effects of these medicines. If too much of a narcotic analgesic is taken, it may become habit-forming (causing mental or physical dependence) or lead to medical problems because of an overdose. Also, taking too much aspirin may cause stomach problems or lead to medical problems because of an overdose.
If you think that this medicine is not working as well after you have been taking it for a few weeks, do not increase the dose. Instead, check with your medical doctor or dentist.

Shelf life?
Sorry, accidentally I had removed this comment:
[quote:7accccf0ec]Hi Lou,

At this site it says the shelf life is 3 years. Hope that helps.

Production of Trazadone
See answer above. That is how I arrived at this board. But I don't get it. This might not be the manufacturer? Perhaps we need to research Pharmaceutical World or trazodone + .com.
Trazodone is the generic name for desyrel.
I think the drug is so old that whoever manufactured desyrel doesn't anymore as I did enter desyrel + .com and came up with nothing using MSN search. Hmm......
But do check out this cool link which I found here (!) too regarding all generic drugs:

Nor-QD
Hi Liz,
I have a history of blood clots too (some sort of gene thing) and I've never heard of being put on Norethindrone for birth control (though I am on it for Endometriosis, and its caused Acne, weight gaina and a full face).
For the clotting, I have to take a full aspirin a day and when pregnant, I will be considered "high risk" but will only have to take one heparain shot a day. I can't image that you can't have kids just because of the clotting issue, but maybe your condition is more serious than mine (I actually got a massive clot in my leg while traveling to asia and it shut down 60% of my lungs before they caught it, but not I'm mostly better).
Sorry I can'be of more help and best of luck.
Sarah
