How should this medicine be used?
Lorazepam comes as a tablet and concentrate (liquid) to take by mouth. It usually is taken two or three times a day and may be taken with or without food. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take lorazepam exactly as directed.
Lorazepam concentrate (liquid) comes with a specially marked dropper for measuring the dose. Ask your pharmacist to show you how to use the dropper. Dilute the concentrate in 1 ounce or more of water, juice, or carbonated beverages just before taking it. It also may be mixed with applesauce or pudding just before taking the dose.
Lorazepam can be habit-forming. Do not take a larger dose, take it more often, or for a longer time than your doctor tells you to. Tolerance may develop with long-term or excessive use, making the drug less effective. Do not take lorazepam for more than 4 months or stop taking this medication without talking to your doctor. Stopping the drug suddenly can worsen your condition and cause withdrawal symptoms (anxiousness, sleeplessness, and irritability). Your doctor probably will decrease your dose gradually.

Switching from lorazepam to clorazepate (tranxene)
I am switching to tranxene so I will not have to take the pills as often as lorazepam. I was taking one lorazepam .5 mg tablet 3 times a day. Will one tranxene 3.75 mg. twice a day (every 12 hours) be comparable to the lorazepam dosage?

Lorazepam online ? Help !!!
This is very interesting.
I had no idea one could get rx medication without a prescription. I have been taking lorazepam 1mg for about a year. My doctor will only call in a prescription for 20-30 pills at a time. I have to call her office for approval.
While I feel she is looking out for my best interests, I sometimes worry she could say, "Well, that's enough for you."
Lorazepam helped me to quit smoking, relaxes me at night so I can sleep, causes no side effects that I'm aware of it, and decreases the pain in my mouth from a tooth being pulled two years ago. I have lung damage from smoking (stupid me); lorazepam helps breathe normally so I'm not gasping for breath while mopping the floor!
Lorazepam is very handy stuff!

Getting off lorazepam
This is my first time to post. I have been on lorazepam for 6 to 8 months, for insomnia. In the past 2 weeks I have slowly got off the medicine. This is my question, I have been off it for 4 days, since then I have stopped sleeping. Can anyone out there tell first how long does it take to get the lorazepam out of your system? Second what are the side effects of stopping the med? Is a person not sleeping one of the side effects? Thanks for any information anyone can give.

Lorazepam online ? Help !!!
Is there anybody who could recommend a site where I can get lorazepam online. My doctor used to prescribe it, but it s*** to go for a visit every 3 months.. ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
