Indapamide (Systemic)

Before Using This Medicine
In deciding to use a medicine, the risks of taking the medicine must be weighed against the good it will do. This is a decision you and your doctor will make. For indapamide, the following should be considered:
Allergies-Tell your doctor if you have ever had any unusual or allergic reaction to indapamide or other sulfonamide-type medicines. Also tell your health care professional if you are allergic to any other substances, such as foods, preservatives, or dyes.
Pregnancy-Indapamide has not been studied in pregnant women. However, indapamide has not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems in animal studies.
In general, diuretics are not useful for normal swelling of feet and hands that occurs during pregnancy. Diuretics should not be taken during pregnancy unless recommended by your doctor.
Breast-feeding-It is not known whether indapamide passes into breast milk. However, this medicine has not been reported to cause problems in nursing babies.
Children-Studies on this medicine have been done only in adult patients, and there is no specific information comparing use of indapamide in children with use in other age groups.
Older adults-Dizziness or lightheadedness and signs and symptoms of too much potassium loss are more likely to occur in the elderly, who are usually more sensitive than younger adults to the effects of indapamide.
Other medicines-Although certain medicines should not be used together at all, in other cases two different medicines may be used together even if an interaction might occur. In these cases, your doctor may want to change the dose, or other precautions may be necessary. When you are taking indapamide, it is especially important that your health care professional know if you are taking any of the following:
- Digitalis glycosides (heart medicine)-Use with indapamide may increase the chance of side effects of digitalis glycosides
- Lithium (e.g., Lithane)-Use with indapamide may cause high blood levels of lithium, which may increase the chance of side effects
- Diabetes mellitus (sugar diabetes) or
- Gout (history of)-Indapamide may make these conditions worse
- Kidney disease-May prevent indapamide from working properly
- Liver disease-Higher blood levels of indapamide may occur, which may increase the chance of side effects

Production of Trazadone
See answer above. That is how I arrived at this board. But I don't get it. This might not be the manufacturer? Perhaps we need to research Pharmaceutical World or trazodone + .com.
Trazodone is the generic name for desyrel.
I think the drug is so old that whoever manufactured desyrel doesn't anymore as I did enter desyrel + .com and came up with nothing using MSN search. Hmm......
