Gentian Violet (Vaginal)
Brand name(s): iolet (Vagin
Precautions While Using This Medicine
If your symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse, check with your doctor.
Gentian violet will stain the skin and clothing. Vaginal medicines usually will come out of the vagina during treatment. To keep the medicine from getting on your clothing, wear a minipad or sanitary napkin.
To help clear up your infection completely and to help make sure it does not return, good health habits are also needed.
- Wear cotton panties (or panties or pantyhose with cotton crotches) instead of synthetic (for example, nylon or rayon) panties.
- Wear only clean panties.
If you have any questions about this, check with your health care professional.
Many vaginal infections are spread by having sex. A male sexual partner may carry the germs on or in his penis. While you are using this medicine, it may be a good idea for your partner to wear a condom during sex to avoid re-infection. Also, your partner may need to be treated. Do not stop using this medicine if you have sex during treatment.
Some women may want to use a douche before putting each dose in the vagina. Some doctors will allow the use of a vinegar and water douche or other douche. However, others do not allow any douching. If you do use a douche, do not overfill the vagina. To do so may push the douche up into the uterus and possibly cause inflammation or infection. Also, do not douche if you are pregnant since this may harm the fetus . If you have any questions about this, check with your health care professional.

Clindamycin - Vaginal Cream
Has anyone had to take this for bacterial vaginosis? If so, what were he side effects from taking it? I believe the skin between my butt and upper thighs, right below my vaginal entry is irritated. I really have to get a good look at it to be sure but I know it feels that way. I've also been getting a discharge, which I expect but sometimes it's mixed with brownish red. Is this something I should let my doctor know about? I've already had to switch from Flagyl because it made me sickenly nauseated.

Clindamycin - Vaginal Cream
I USED CLYNDESE (I THINK THATS HOW IT IS SPELLED)THIS IS THE SAME AS CLYNDAMICIN. IT IS A SINGLE DOSE OF VAGINAL CREAM AND IT GAVE ME A YEAST INFECTION, WHICH CAUSED THE INFLAMATION THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. NOW I AM USING FLUCONAZOLE ( I PILL 150 mg) AND I HAVE YET TO FEEL ANY RELIEF. THIS IS HORRIBLE!

Production of Trazadone
See answer above. That is how I arrived at this board. But I don't get it. This might not be the manufacturer? Perhaps we need to research Pharmaceutical World or trazodone + .com.
Trazodone is the generic name for desyrel.
I think the drug is so old that whoever manufactured desyrel doesn't anymore as I did enter desyrel + .com and came up with nothing using MSN search. Hmm......
But do check out this cool link which I found here (!) too regarding all generic drugs:

Metronidazole (Baterial Vaginosis)
I also took metronidazole in the form of a vaginal gel for a yeast infection. Two days after starting the medication, I also broke out in a severe rash. The rash is still spreading after 12 days, despite treatment with methylprednisolone (7 days)and diphenhydramine. This treatment arrested the rash, but it began spreading again as soon as the treatment stopped.
How do I get rid of the rash?
