Risperidone (Risperdal) Forum - Aripiprazole

Hello<BR><BR>I have been prescribed Aripiprazole and was wondering whether this means that I am schizophrenic? No one has actually told me I am but I can only find "aripiprazole" and "schizophrenia" and/or "epilepsy". Can someone let me know roughly what I can expect when I start to take the pills?<BR><BR>Many thanks

No reasons where given except the fact that the doctors think my thought processes are not the "usual" (whatever that may be!). Its the pills or hospital. Can they really take me into hospital against my wishes? I haven't started the pills yet.<BR><BR>Thank you for the link. I shall print off and read at my leisure.

Many thanks for your "good luck" wishes. I am just worried that I am being prescribed something which I don't really need. I am putting it all down to the menopause and the abuse by other members of society.<BR><BR>Thanks again.
