Clindamycin (Cleocin Oral, Cleocin T) Forum Forum - Clindamycin for abscessed tooth almost killed me

I was given Clindamycin for an abscessed tooth. I had horrid stomach cramps for the days before my root canal and then insisted I be taken off the medicine afterwards. Three weeks later, I was in the hospital after 7 days of diarrhea 25 times a day. My electrolytes were dangerously off and doctor said I could have easily have had a heart attack.

I'd have to be facing death and only Clindamycin could save me to ever take this horrible medicine again. It should be taken off the market!
