I was prescribed Clindamycin for a tooth infection and after reading the label, I am scared to take it.
I have never had any allergic reactions to antibiotics, only a few tummy aches here and there, but this one had a warning on the label about the medicine causing severe, rarely fatal intestinal problems. It also says a doctor should keep a close eye on you when taking this medicine.
I've never seen these kinds of warnings on a label before. I called my doctor and he gave me zithromax instead.
Am I just freaking out or is this medicine really that dangerous?
