Felodipine
Plendil Logo
Brand name(s): Plendil
How should this medicine be used?
Felodipine comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day. Do not crush, chew, or divide felodipine tablets. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Take felodipine exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Felodipine controls high blood pressure but does not cure it. Continue to take felodipine even if you feel well. Do not stop taking felodipine without talking to your doctor.

leg pains
My mother had been taking oxprenolol for a long time and was switched to valsartan 2-3 weeks ago. After aboout 10 days she suddenly got very severe pain in one leg, particularly the knee and ankle. After a few nights without sleep, she contacted her doctor who has now switched her to felodipine. Four days later, the leg pain is not decreasing.
I have 2 questions:
How long can the leg pains continue now she has stopped taking valsartan? We assumed the pain would start decreasing as soon as she stopped, but there is no improvement yet. The prescribed painkillers (oral and Ibuleve cream) are not helping, so she has had almost no sleep for over a week and is not coping well.
Joint pains are listed as a side effect of the felodipine. We know that it is in a different category of drug to valsartan (it is a calcium channel blocker), but is it likely to cause the same type of pain (sudden onset knee/ankle pain)? If so, it is going to be difficult to know whether any continuing leg pain is still the effect of the valsartan or due to the felodipine.

Production of Trazadone
See answer above. That is how I arrived at this board. But I don't get it. This might not be the manufacturer? Perhaps we need to research Pharmaceutical World or trazodone + .com.
Trazodone is the generic name for desyrel.
I think the drug is so old that whoever manufactured desyrel doesn't anymore as I did enter desyrel + .com and came up with nothing using MSN search. Hmm......
But do check out this cool link which I found here (!) too regarding all generic drugs:
