Why is this medication prescribed?
Etonogestrel and ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring is used to prevent pregnancy. Etonogestrel and ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring is in a class of medications called combination hormonal contraceptives (birth control medications). Etonogestrel is a progestin and ethinyl estradiol is an estrogen. Etonogestrel and ethinyl estradiol vaginal ring works by preventing ovulation (the release of an egg from the ovaries). It also changes the lining of the uterus (womb) to prevent pregnancy from developing and changes the mucus at the cervix (opening of the uterus) to prevent sperm (male reproductive cells) from entering. The contraceptive ring is a very effective method of birth control but does not prevent the spread of human immunodeficiency virus [HIV, the virus that causes acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS)] or other sexually transmitted diseases.

estradiol and fsh levels
we have been trying to concieve for 3 years. my Fsh levels have dropped from 17 to 6 and im thrilled about this -however i read on the net that if estradiol levels are above 75 it indicates low egg reserve. mine was 262. i was thinking asking my doctor for something - would estrace, climara, estraderm work to bring my levels down and would this in turn affect my eggs or just my estradiol levels. anyone any ideas much apreciated

Clindamycin - Vaginal Cream
Has anyone had to take this for bacterial vaginosis? If so, what were he side effects from taking it? I believe the skin between my butt and upper thighs, right below my vaginal entry is irritated. I really have to get a good look at it to be sure but I know it feels that way. I've also been getting a discharge, which I expect but sometimes it's mixed with brownish red. Is this something I should let my doctor know about? I've already had to switch from Flagyl because it made me sickenly nauseated.
