What side effects can this medication cause?

Aripiprazole may cause side effects. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away:

  • headache
  • nervousness
  • difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep
  • drowsiness
  • lightheadedness
  • restlessness
  • constipation
  • weight gain
  • coughing
  • runny nose
  • shaking hands that you cannot control
  • rash
  • dry skin
  • itchy eyes
  • ear pain
  • loss of appetite

Some side effects can be serious. The following symptoms are uncommon, but if you experience any of them or those listed in the SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS section, call your doctor immediately:

  • dizziness
  • fainting
  • slow, fast, or irregular heartbeat
  • chest pain
  • swelling of hands, feet, ankles, or lower legs
  • depression
  • seizures
  • difficulty swallowing
  • unusual movements of your body or face that you cannot control
  • urgent need to urinate
  • high fever
  • muscle stiffness
  • confusion
  • sweating
  • abnormal excitement

Aripiprazole may cause other side effects. Call your doctor if you have any unusual problems while taking this medication.

Aripiprazole
Hello

I have been prescribed Aripiprazole and was wondering whether this means that I am schizophrenic? No one has actually told me I am but I can only find "aripiprazole" and "schizophrenia" and/or "epilepsy". Can someone let me know roughly what I can expect when I start to take the pills?

Production of Trazadone
See answer above. That is how I arrived at this board. But I don't get it. This might not be the manufacturer? Perhaps we need to research Pharmaceutical World or trazodone + .com.
Trazodone is the generic name for desyrel.
I think the drug is so old that whoever manufactured desyrel doesn't anymore as I did enter desyrel + .com and came up with nothing using MSN search. Hmm......
