Alglucerase (Systemic)

Brand name(s): Ceredase

Order From TotalMeds.com

Description

Alglucerase (al-GLOO-ser-ace) is used to treat Gaucher's disease caused by the lack of a certain enzyme, glucocerebrosidase, in the body. This enzyme is necessary for your body to use fats.

Alglucerase is made from human placenta tissue that is collected after a baby is born. Before it is used, the tissue is tested for hepatitis and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This is similar to the testing that a blood bank does on donated blood before it is given to anyone else.

Alglucerase is available with your doctor's prescription, in the following dosage form:

    Parenteral
  • Injection (U.S. and Canada)

Anyone have exp. w/ online pharmacies???????
I got on an online pharmacy (from overseas, w/out a prescription), and typed up an order just to see the cost. This was about 2 months ago. I stopped at the credit card part, did not complete the order. I recieved a email aasking me to complete my oreder by providing credit card info, but I just deleted it. A few days ago, I recived a brown envelope w/ unmarked pills in it. Now note or bill or description. Nothing. A retuen handwritten address from Brazil. I neer sent payment so don't know why they would send them. Any ideas??????????
